Meet The Staff

Senior Pastor

Dennis Spire began serving as pastor of Calvary Baptist on January 16, 1990. Before coming to Calvary he served in other pastorates, youth, and music positions. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Religious Education from Howard Payne University in the Spring of 1978. In 1993, Dennis received a Master of Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dennis and his wife Brenda were married in 1978 and have three college age kids; Matt, Mark, and Kim. Brenda works for San Marcos Real Estate both as a realtor and secretary.
