Here at Calvary, we have a high view of parents and families. Children are a gift from God (Ps 127:4-5). We believe the most important person in a child’s life is a loving mother and father, grandparents, or a parental guardian that God has placed over them. Parents have the responsibility to be the primary spiritual influence in their child’s life and the Church is there to help equip, encourage, and support parents along their way. One of the goals of child-rearing is for parents to help children come to the place of accepting God’s rule in their lives in a real and personal way through discipline and instruction. From the earliest days, children learn by imitating parents and participating in the family. The first six years of life are especially critical in laying the foundation that must support a lifetime of experience. When parents spend time talking about a subject with their children, it indicates that it is valuable to them. When they talk about the Bible, God, Jesus, their faith, or the church, that sends a message to the child that it is important. This is why we believe so strongly in Family Worship.
In addition to this, we make your child’s safety a priority. Our teachers and assistants have been carefully trained and vetted, and our security team patrols the premises for safety. Our check-in process is friendly and easy and you’ll leave with confidence knowing your child is taken care of and safe. We offer Sunday school for all ages at 9:15am and J.A.M (Jesus And Me) for Pre-k and kinder during the Sermon. Check-Ins for Nursery and Preschool is located in our Family Welcome Center which is directly to your right when you walk through the front doors. 1st -5th grade will need to be taken by the parent upstairs to our children’s wing where they will be checked in by their teacher. Every child needs to be dropped off and picked up by the parent/guardian. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early if you are checking in your children. We can’t wait to see you!
